AMERICAN HUSTLER
1. Have Thick Skin. The strip club is a highly charged environment illicit and illegal activity takes place there often. Sex, drugs, and violence are the accouterments of the strip club.
2. Invest in yourself. Purchase good quality stripper shoes. Be sure to invest in some sturdy shoes you can grow into. Dance outfits are important to your craft so don’t be cheap buy the good stuff. But if you’re new and fresh starting out as a dancer simply get what you can afford.
3. Have a sense of confidence because you’ll likely be around other women with perhaps better bodies than you. And if that bothers you that can negatively impact your self-esteem.
4. Set boundaries. Draw a line in the figurative sand establishing what you will, and will not accept from other dancers, customers, as well as the strip club’s staff and management.
.
5. Be independent. Don’t get a dance partner because you risk losing out on opportunities if perhaps your dance partner declines to attend an event with you.
6. Speak up for yourself, and let your presence be known. Don’t be taken advantage of. When someone wrongs you, it’s important to nip it in the bud so that it doesn’t continue to happen.
7. Know where your money is at all times especially while performing. Be mindful that some of the other strippers may attempt to steal your earning.
8. Safety first. Always be security conscience. Know and be aware of your surroundings. Where permitted, carry personal protection devices such as mace, brace knuckles, or a taser.
9. Separate work from pleasure. do not let people at your job know where you live, and do not let people, where you live, know where you work. Get free to text the app or a throwaway phone. So that you can ensure only those whom you trust have your real contact information.
10. Come as you are. You need not be perfect to start as a dancer. Even if you can’t dance, go for it. In due time you’ll get better at it. Start shaking ass for cash.
11. Watch out for OG dancers. The older dancers are more likely to take advantage of the new dancers stealing their cash or pimping them out to customers, so be cautious.
12. Stay alert. Do not ever get wasted to the point where you put your well-being in jeopardy. The strip club is a sneaky environment, and people with evil intent will exploit your vulnerability
13. Being a Stripper is a job, so treat it like one. Be professional trust sparingly. Get the bag, then get gone.
