In 1985 Trump purchased the now renowned Mar-A-Lago on the condition that he doesn’t make it his permanent residence. In exchange Trump was given significant tax benefits which to date he continues to benefit. Now with his presidential term set to expire in just a few days on January 20,2020 there are indications Trump may in fact move to mar-A-Lago in violation of the agreement made between him and the town of palm beach Florida.
